Head of Think Healthcare Dave Mills took to the airwaves on BBC Radio 4 when he was invited to discuss the use of advanced cloud telephony to improve patient access to GP surgeries.
The BBC Radio 4 show, The Bottom Line, was hosted by Evan Davis, also presenter of The Dragon’s Den. The episode was called “All our agents are currently busy” and Dave and the other guests were invited to discuss modern approaches businesses can take to give customer, or patients, access to their services.
Given the Covid pandemic and increased requirements for the 70 million patients in the UK to contact the NHS, the Think Healthcare platform was a topical addition to the conversation.
Dave joined Think Healthcare following almost two decades in the primary care health technology sector, including a long spell in GP surgery practice management.
He said: “The Think Healthcare solution is designed to help NHS services, such as GP surgeries, PCNs, cluster, ICBs and health boards, to manage their phone contacts in a more patient friendly and efficient manner while not forgetting the primary goal of helping to alleviate the age-old problem of extensive queues on the phone first thing in the morning.”
